Overview

This guide walks you through seamlessly migrating your account from Legacy Frase to the new Frase application.

Only certain plan types are eligible for migration - and only organization admins can complete the migration process.

Step 1: Prepare for Migration

Before migrating, we recommend:

  • Reviewing active projects and documents

  • Reactivate any needed archived documents (only live docs will be migrated)

  • Noting any critical deadlines

  • Informing your team about the upcoming change

  • Export important documents as a backup

What to expect

  • Once the admin authorizes the migration, it should complete within minutes.

  • All active documents will be migrated and available under “Content” in new Frase.

  • Once the migration is initiated, all non-admins will be unable to access Legacy Frase.

  • When the migration is complete, these users will receive an email notification to set up their account and join their admin’s organization.

  • Any Content Governance, Folders, and Integrations will need to be set back up.

Step 2: Access the Migration Tool

  1. Log in to your new Frase application account here.

  2. Navigate to Settings → Account

  3. Click Start Migration

Step 3: Send & enter authorization code

  1. To kickoff the migration, you’ll have a verification code emailed to you. Copy this code and paste it into the new Frase application.

  2. Confirm to proceed

Step 4: Run the Migration

  1. Click Confirm Migration

  2. Migration begins automatically

  3. You’ll see a progress indicator
