Content Calendar

Schedule content on the calendar and let Frase publish it for you.

The Content Calendar is where you schedule articles and watch them publish to your CMS over time. Put an article on a future date and Frase publishes it for you when that day arrives.

Manage your site's Calendar from the sidebar, in the Plan & Create group.

What the Statuses Mean

Each item on the calendar shows where it is in the workflow:

  • Planned: on your plan with a date, not written yet

  • Generating: Frase is writing it

  • Draft: written, not published yet

  • Review: waiting for your approval in the Review Queue (located on the left sidebar, in the Publish group)

  • Published: live on your site

Schedule an Article

From the calendar, drag an article onto a future day, or open a day and use Schedule existing to place one there. You can also set a date from the schedule picker and click Schedule.

When the date arrives, Frase publishes the article on its own, through the same publishing path it uses when you publish by hand.

Your content Rules are checked at that moment too. If a scheduled article breaks a content rule at publish time, Frase moves it back to drafts and tells you what to fix.

If Frase is still writing an article, you can't schedule it yet. It can be scheduled once it finishes generating.

Reschedule or Remove

Drag a scheduled item to another day to move it, or clear its schedule to send it back to unscheduled. For an item on your plan, use Remove from plan.

Fill the Calendar from Opportunities

You don't have to add articles one at a time. On the Opportunities page, select several recommendations and choose Add to plan.

Pick how to space them out: Spread evenly, All at once, or Pick dates. An allowance counter moves as you select, for example "Selecting 3 more brings you to 15 of 30," so you can see how much of your plan a batch uses before you commit.
