Content Strategy
See every input Frase uses to decide what to create, and set the pace it works at.
Before Frase recommends a single piece of content, it's already reading a lot: who you serve, who you compete with, the topics you're building, the themes you refuse, and how fast you want to move. The Strategy page puts all of that in one place, so you can see why Frase suggests what it does.
Where to Find It
Strategy is site-specific. Open it, pick a site, and everything on the page reflects that site's brand, competitors, clusters, and settings. When Strategy is turned on for your workspace, it sits in the sidebar under Plan & Create, alongside Research, Opportunities, and Content.
What It Shows You
The page is built from the inputs that shape your recommendations. Each one shows its current value for the selected site.
Product and Audience
Who you serve and what you sell. Every piece Frase writes starts from this: who it's for, what you offer, why they pick you, and where you sit in the market. It comes from your Brand Hub profile, so use Edit in Brand Hub to change it, or Set up your profile if it's still empty.
Who You're Up Against
The competitors Frase studies to find where you can win. Confirmed competitors are the ones that actually shape your recommendations. A newly discovered competitor stays visible but powerless until you confirm it, so it won't skew your data on its own. Use Manage competitors to review and confirm them.
Topics You're Building
Your topic clusters, the subjects you want to own. Frase ranks opportunities inside these first, and each cluster shows how much content and how many briefs sit under it. Clusters belong to the site, though some are shared across all your sites and show an All sites badge.
Never Write About
The themes Frase refuses. Any term on this list is kept out of the content Frase generates for the site, so you can fence off topics that aren't right for your brand. Brand terms are managed in Brand Hub, under Governance.
How Fast Frase Acts on This Strategy
Planning cadence is the one setting you change directly on this page. It's how many articles a week Frase plans onto your calendar, from 1 to 7, and it starts at 2. Only workspace admins and owners can change it. Cadence sets the pace Frase works at. It never limits what you create yourself, and it never publishes anything on its own.
Your Article Allowance
A meter shows how much of your plan's article allowance you've used this cycle, including any one-off credits on top of your plan and any per-site budget an admin has set for this site. It's here so the pace you plan stays honest about what your plan actually allows.
How Strategy Connects to the Rest of Frase
The inputs on this page flow straight into the rest of your workflow. Your brand, competitors, clusters, and off-limit themes shape which Opportunities Frase surfaces, and your cadence shapes what lands on your calendar.
Strategy stays focused on those inputs. Pipeline health, like your approval rate, drafts awaiting review, and what published on its own, lives on the Autonomy page, and your visitor-question feed lives in Answers. Each of those has a home that can act on it, so Strategy doesn't duplicate them.
